Successful smart city initiatives are based on a comprehensive strategy and a cohesion implementation plan. A cohesion implementation plan requires collaboration of various smart city enablers including the policy maker, project owner, financier and the technology solution provider to provide better buy-in and increase the bankability of smart initiatives.
Yet, there is no one-size fits-all approach for smart cities, and operational models need to be tailored to individual city. Nevertheless, a good understanding on the principals and enabling factors of smart city projects path the road towards translating concept to bankable projects.
In this forum, thought leaders from various smart city enablers will share their roles, challenges, and opportunities as the key components that provide necessary foundation and tools to accelerate effective transition of strategic concept to bankable project. The session will also discuss on possible strategies to align coherent vision to drive the national smart city agenda.
